The Celonis Legal team is an energetic and proactive group of experts in their field, focused on identifying, avoiding, mitigating and solving challenges within the Celonis business. We sit at the heart of the Celonis organization and are proud to be seen as valued business partners across all aspects of the business. Reporting into the Chief Legal & Trust Officer, AGCs lead our GTM & Product, Corporate, Employment and Ethics & Compliance practices.

The Legal Intern will sit within the GTM practice, reporting to our Legal Director, NAM Commercial.

The Legal Intern position is an exciting opportunity to learn and make an impact within the Celonis Legal team and is primarily responsible for providing support to the GTM practice, with regular opportunities to contribute to the other divisions within the global Legal team. A successful candidate will be expected to provide pragmatic, creative, collaborative and solution-oriented legal support. The Legal Intern must be able to prioritize effectively and drive issues to resolution within a team environment focused on growth, execution and process improvement.

• Support the GTM practice in drafting, reviewing, analyzing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, including cloud and on-premise subscriptions, professional services agreements, GenAI terms and data processing agreements
• Contribute to projects focused on process improvement, reduction of friction and problem solving within areas of Legal and Compliance
• Partner with stakeholders within the Celonis organization, including but not limited to Sales, Deal Desk, Finance and Compliance
• Further Celonis’ business, financial and risk management objectives through legal research

• Law student from a highly-regarded university
• Business fluency in English
• Ability to think “outside the box” and address complex matters with creative solutions
• Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude
• Ability to independently organize, prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
• Ability to maintain strong working relationships with high-performing internal clients and work effectively with remote team and management members
• Sound and practical business judgment
• Available for full-time (40hr/week) internship from June 1st to August 7th.
• It is required to be based in Raleigh for the duration of the internship.
