What You'll Be Doing
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to address business challenges and opportunities.
- Leverage behavioral analytics data to enhance existing models and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Explore new data and review, clean, and transform data as needed to support modeling, analysis, and data visualization.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and formulate data-driven solutions.
- Interpret and communicate insights and findings from analyses to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to support the introduction of new products, enhancements to existing products (forms, rates, rules), and/or entry into new markets to reach company profit and growth targets.
- Serve as product expert supporting corporate actions and operational initiatives.
- Monitor overall product performance on Jewelers Mutual book of business and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
- Work on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Utilize JM Group or authorized third-party data to perform statistical analysis and data mining to understand current and historical patterns that can be utilized to improve business performance
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.

What You'll Bring- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with Python and/or R as it relates to data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with statistical methods and concepts, such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and probability theory.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, and/or other query/reporting skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
