Job Title:
Service Now Specialist - Expert


Type: 10+ Months Contract

Work Arrangement:
Remote Role


Responsibilities:
1.Develop custom applications, modules, and components within the Service Now platform using scoped development methodology.
2.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Service Now.
3.Design, configure, and customize Service Now applications, workflows, forms, and interfaces to meet business needs.
4.Create and maintain application documentation, including design specifications, technical documentation, and user guides.
5.Perform system testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of developed applications.
6.Integrate Service Now with external systems and applications using web services, APIs, and other integration methods.
7.Implement and maintain best practices for Service Now development, including version control, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
8.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Service Now applications, modules, and integrations.
9.Stay up to date with the latest Service Now releases, features, and functionalities, and assess their applicability to the organization's needs.
10.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system administrators, and other developers, to deliver effective Service Now solutions.

Requirements:
1.Solid experience in Service Now application development, including Scoped Application development.
2.Proficiency in Service Now platform capabilities, including Service Portal, Service Catalog, Asset Management, CMDB, Request Management, Contract/vendor management, etc.
3.Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
4.Familiarity with Service Now development best practices, including coding standards, security, and performance optimization.
5.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
6.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
7.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is desirable.
