Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC
. You will build and automate pipelines for data ingestion and transformation and implement secure, scalable data lake architectures.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $51/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Git Hub Actions/Git Lab CI) for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics workloads.
- Automating infrastructure provisioning and environment management using Terraform (IaC) across AWS accounts and environments.
- Enabling secure, scalable AWS data lake architectures leveraging S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, and Snowflake integrations.
- Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting for data pipelines to ensure reliability, performance, and data quality SLAs.
- Applying security best practices (IAM roles/policies, secrets management) and cost/performance optimization for data platforms.
- Collaborating closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, Platform/Infra, and Security teams to define standards, troubleshoot issues, and improve delivery velocity.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Dev Ops with a strong focus on data engineering environments.
- Proven expertise in building CI/CD pipelines and automating cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Strong experience working with AWS data platforms such as S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, and Snowflake.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $51.00 per hour
