About the role: The Content Strategist is a client-embedded partner responsible for leading end-to-end content strategy, creative oversight, and performance optimization across paid and organic social. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, creative development, and real-time performance, owning the full content funnel—from awareness through conversion—while overseeing multiple creative agencies to ensure work is strategically aligned, high quality, and driving measurable impact.
It requires strong creative judgment, operational rigor, and the ability to translate business objectives into clear briefs, actionable feedback, and continuously improving content systems.

RequirementsResponsibilities:
Agency Leadership & Campaign Strategy- Act as the day-to-day strategic lead across multiple creative and production agencies.
- Serve as the primary bridge between brand objectives and creative execution, ensuring clarity and alignment at every stage.
- Establish and manage clear ways of working, roles, and accountability across agency partners.
- Manage up to 5 concurrent campaigns at a time, maintaining prioritization, quality, and momentum across all live work.
- Translate brand and business goals into campaign frameworks, success metrics, and strategic direction.
- Build end-to-end creative briefs for always-on and campaign-based content across paid and organic channels.
- Lead creative development across platforms, formats, and funnel stages.
- Review concepts, scripts, rough cuts, and final assets, providing clear, actionable feedback that elevates creative quality and effectiveness.
- Lead large-scale content production initiatives (e.g., super shoots), including:
- Developing creative and production briefs
- Partnering with production and studio teams
- Defining shot lists and funnel-specific asset needs
- Ensure brand voice, consistency, and platform best practices are upheld across all outputs.
- Own and actively manage the full-funnel content ecosystem (awareness, consideration, conversion).
- Analyze performance using platform reporting tools and internal analytics solutions.
- Identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for optimization across the content mix.
- Translate insights into real-time creative, messaging, and format optimizations.
- Feed performance learnings back into briefing and planning cycles to continuously improve results.
- Oversee asset trafficking across agencies, platforms, and internal teams.
- Ensure assets are delivered on time, approved efficiently, and aligned with channel and media requirements.
- Maintain visibility into asset status, approvals, and deployment across campaigns.
- Proactively reduce operational friction through strong coordination and communication.
- Partner closely with senior client stakeholders as a trusted content and creative advisor.
- Participate in regular status meetings to align on priorities, performance, and upcoming work streams.
- Provide clear updates, strategic recommendations, and forward-looking planning guidance.
- 5-7+ years of experience in content strategy, social strategy, or creative strategy, preferably within an agency.
- Proven experience leading social-first, performance-aware content across paid and organic channels.
- Strong creative judgment with the ability to give clear, constructive feedback across formats and platforms.
- Experience managing multiple agencies and complex creative ecosystems.
- Fluency in full-funnel content strategy and performance optimization.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent work streams.
- Strong client presence with the ability to influence, align, and drive decisions.
- Experience working with analytics and reporting tools to inform creative strategy.
- Contract Role: 40 hours/week
- Contract Term:
February 1, 2026 – September 1, 2026 - Remote;
East Coast working hours strongly preferred - Competitive compensation aligned with experience and scope of work.
