Job Title: SAP MM Functional Consultant (Pharma Exp)

Location: Cary / Raleigh, NC (Hybrid or Onsite Preferred)

Job Overview

Nex Info is seeking an experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant to replace a key resource on an active engagement within the pharmaceutical manufacturing domain. The ideal candidate will bring deep SAP MM expertise, hands‑on Production Planning (PP) experience, and working knowledge of Quality Management (QM), along with a strong background in regulated life sciences environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP MM processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, Batch Management, and Material Valuation
• Provide hands‑on functional support for SAP PP processes including MRP, Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and production integration
• Support SAP QM processes including inspection types, quality notifications, and MM/PP integration
• Ensure SAP solutions comply with GxP, GMP, and FDA regulatory requirements
• Participate in SAP ECC and/or S/4
  
  HANA implementations, rollouts, and ongoing support
• Support testing cycles, go‑live activities, and hyper‑care support
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders as a functional subject matter expert

Required Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of overall SAP experience
• Strong hands‑on SAP MM expertise
• Practical, hands‑on experience supporting SAP PP processes
• Working knowledge of SAP QM
• Pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing industry experience (required)
• SAP ECC and/or S/4
  
  HANA experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting SAP implementations or rollouts in regulated environments
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work onsite or in a hybrid model in the Cary/Raleigh, NC area
