AWS Cloud Security

• 5-6 years of experience in Cybersecurity and Cloud-native Security Services (minimum 3 years in AWS)
• Hands‑on development experience using Python, Power Shell, etc.
• Experience working with Dev Sec Ops  tools and processes
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) modules for security using Terraform, Bicep, Cloud Formation, and similar tools
• Experience provisioning, managing, and monitoring security for resources/landing zones in AWS
• 2+ years experience building and deploying security, governance, and compliance guardrails in cloud environments using Policy‑as‑Code (OPA Rego, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of AWS Security Reference Architecture, Well‑Architected Framework, and industry best practices in cloud security
• Experience with CSPM tools such as Microsoft Defender, Wiz, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud to remediate issues and improve security posture score
• Hands‑on experience configuring Web Application Firewalls and other cloud‑native security services
• Experience ensuring application security using Dev Sec Ops  scanning tools, API security, and container security controls
• Knowledge of CNAPP/CWPP tools, Microsoft Active Directory, Entra , container security, encryption key management, and secrets management
• Experience with third‑party tools such as Palo Alto or Fortinet next‑gen firewalls, Qualys VMDR, Wiz Cloud, Crowd Strike Falcon EDR, Zscaler SASE, Snyk, Aqua CNAPP, Imperva WAF, CIEM tools, etc.
• Experience with security testing tools: OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, and other SAST/DAST tools
• Strong knowledge and experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and Chef
