Business Analyst

Overview

Technical Functional Analyst (SDK & API) with knowledge of infrastructure such as Auth0, Apigee, Splunk, and related tools. The role involves exposing APIs, evaluating functionality, managing access, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with engineering teams. Java background is preferable.

• Evaluate functionality, check subscriptions, ensure proper access, troubleshoot possible issues when exposing another API.
• Be proactive and cooperative with teams including Auth0, Apigee, Splunk, and other stakeholders.
• Research core functionality and identify exact improvement points; present proposals to core teams with concrete context rather than generic requests.
• Design reasonable solutions that can be implemented in a timely fashion.
• Keep the backlog up to date.
• Be ready to learn new services, applications, and patterns quickly, including discovery and exploratory work with engineering teams.
• Keep track of meaningful requests and use cases, not just proposed solutions; assess whether requests can be fulfilled within current functionality and architecture.

• Knowledge of infrastructure tools such as Auth0, Apigee, Splunk, etc. Experience with exposing and integrating APIs.
• Java background is preferable.
• Strong collaboration and proactive communication skills.
