Requirements
- Masters degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience OR Bachelors degree with at least three years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and pertinent experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in technical and non-technical contexts.
- Proficiency in documenting technical specifications, root cause analysis, and resolutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working within both waterfall and agile project management frameworks.
- Ability to adhere to stringent quality control standards, ensuring unit and integration tests meet business requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills for complex technical challenges.
- (Preferred) Experience in ERP system development or analysis, particularly with People Soft systems.
- (Preferred) Background in Student Information Systems.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with Oracle SQL.
- Serve as a senior programmer/analyst for the Student Information Systems team – Collaborate closely with customers in various departments to develop, support, and maintain the People Soft Campus Solutions system – Analyze functional business processes and develop advanced technical solutions with minimal supervision – Work with management and team members to assess change requests and define specifications – Code applications, integrate systems, and develop testing plans including unit, system, and load tests – Provide support for production and perform system maintenance as necessary – Offer technical and functional guidance to junior team members – Lead initiatives that are of moderate to high complexity – Ensure that developed solutions meet alignment with business needs – Execute other assigned duties as required.
