IT Applications Specialist - Workday

* Position Overview:

** This hybrid (remote/in-office) position is a subject matter expert in the
** Workday
* * ecosystem and technology.

This individual will be able to build low code/no code solutions within systems.  Support solutions and implementations; document system, solution, project and team functionality, processes, decisions, etc. This individual will also coordinate changes, liaise across IT and the business, and analyze relevant services and systems.
** Responsibilities**:
** 35%
** Under general supervision:

Build:a. Good understanding of Platform/Systemsb. Procedures to improve the existing systems by applying the appropriate changes or updates.c. Day-to-Day unit functions of specialized technology such as:
User management, License management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups.d. Medium complexity configuration changes, including (but not limited to):
Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports.e. Create and Optimize simple Workflows & Dashboards

** Support:a. Tier 3 support for production systems.b. SDLCc. Monitoring applications and existing EIB integrationsd. User support.
** 15%
** Document:a. Development of functional requirementsb. Technical requirements.c. Business Process Workflow diagrams.d. Work on approved project management software.e. Knowledge base and deliver Technical Documentation

** Coordinating:a. Releases / CRQ Ownerb. Application upgradesc. Testing & deploymentd. User Training e. Monitor user adoption.

** Liaise with:a. Business partners & usersb. Vendors both for implementation projects and issue supportc. Technical liaison to Software Engineers, systems engineers, Database Administrators, and other IT Teams.

** Analysis of:a. Customer needs and developing of functional requirements that specify what the technology solutions should do and how they should perform.b. Current business processes and systems to identify their strengths and weaknesses.c. Areas for improvement where technology can enhance efficiency, quality, or member satisfaction.

** Batchelor's degree or 4 years relevant experience

** General requirements:
** Understands, but still learning about the SECU organization, Finance Industry, banking, and has a service minded work ethic.

Comfortable with Workday platform and ecosystem.

Shows interest in all of SECU IT to be well rounded and communicative. Solution minded problem solver Collaborative and team player attitude with excellent communication skills both written and oral. Must adhere to the work schedule and attendance policy established by the manager. Must be able to confidently interact with technical, non-technical, and management staff. Review and refinement of the product backlog, sometimes contributing to setting priority.

Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and technical advancements. Must be able to speak English fluently. Must have strong analytical skills with high attention to detail. Serves as on-call responder for software the team supports.
