Overview
Responsible for providing reliable, effective, and efficient client-side computing environments across all Wake Med locations. Provides input to the current architecture, planning, and maintenance strategies of the enterprise desktop, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and mobile device environments. Executes and maintains best practices for desktops, laptops and clients including but not limited to system image management, software deployment, application packaging process deployments, patch management, inventory management, compliance reporting, license auditing and device naming convention.
Provides tier 3 technical support to the Desktop and Client Services Technicians and closely collaborates with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams.

LicensureA+ Certification Or Network Technology Or Microsoft Or System Center Configuration Manager Preferred
EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Associate's Degree Information Technology Preferred
Associate's Degree Computer Science Preferred
4 Years Information Technology - Design, Maintain, Implement Desktop Environments Or Information Technology - Power Shell Scripting Or Information Technology - SCCM Administration Or Information Technology - Audio Visual Required
A+ Certification Or Network Technology Or Microsoft Or System Center Configuration Manager Preferred
