Overview
Piper Companies is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer for a growing technology organization located in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Dev Ops Engineer role is hybrid requiring onsite in the office 3 days a week. A successful candidate for the Dev Ops Engineer will possess a strong background in automation and IAC.
Responsibilities- Provides System/Dev Ops best practices to influence design and implementation approaches and solutions
- Maintain and configure CI/CD plans, develop installation tools, configure and automate the deployment of new environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and create processes related to dev ops
- Lead, drive, and implement highly scalable and complex solutions in secure environment
- Over 2 years of professional Dev Ops engineering experience
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Circle
CI, Azure Dev Ops) - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog)
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Git Hub, Git Lab)
- $65,000 - $115,000 annually with full comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
