Technical Project Manager

Bridgera is an innovative custom software solutions company specializing in developing Internet of Things (IoT) products. We develop custom IoT connected solutions for our customers. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to manage some of our critical IoT projects and product development work.

The right candidate will possess a strong technical program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects across multiple teams, and will want to have the passion to delight our IoT customers. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive the project and product initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

This position requires you to work closely with the customers.

  Hyd/ Pune; 3rd preference: anywhere in India. Should be willing to travel and work from Bridgera offices in Kolkata, Hyderabad or Pune if required.

• Project Estimation, Planning, Monitoring and Status Reporting.
• Actively participate in requirement gathering and requirement analysis process and create business requirement documents to drive clarity.
• Create high-level and low-level technical design documents.
• Manage user stories in Jira and drive priorities for agile execution.
• Conduct agile ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily scrum calls, sprint retrospective.
• Prepare user documentation and release notes.
• Validate implementation through spot checks prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Coordinate UAT execution and signoff.
• Track the progress of the tasks and overall project health.
• Prepare and present monthly status and manage product roadmap.
• Create plan for scalability and high availability of the IoT products. Create plans to minimize service downtime. Report and react to service outages promptly.

• B. Tech. / Graduate /MCA

• Overall 8+ years of experience with software development and management.
• Prior experience of managing web, mobile, IoT projects.
• Familiarity with the following technologies – Angular, Node JS, React JS, React Native, Java.
• Previous experience of working with Relational (MySQL, SQL Server) and No
  
  SQL (Mongo
  
  DB) databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills via numerous methods (in-person, phone calls, video calls, instant messaging, etc).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
