SOC Engineer

Overview

Piper Companies is seeking a SOC Engineer to work for a leader in the technology industry. The SOC Engineer will be leveraging SOC tools, communicating incidents / threats and assisting with response. The SOC Engineer role is a hybrid position requiring to work in the office at least 3 days a week.

• Design, implement, and maintain SOC infrastructure and detection capabilities.
• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel).
• Integrate cloud-native security tools (Azure, AWS, M365) into SOC workflows.

• 3+ years of experience working in a SOC environment
• Strong background within Splunk
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant work experience

• Salary: $120,000 - $145,000
