What You'll Do- Build trusted relationships with employers and serve as their primary point of contact
- Help employers recruit, interview, and hire qualified talent
- Connect businesses to workforce incentives such as On-the-Job Training (OJT)
- Translate employer needs into actionable hiring and training solutions
- Coordinate hiring events, information sessions, and job fairs
- Track outcomes and meet performance goals while delivering excellent customer service
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Experience working with customers, clients, employers, or community partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Comfort with data tracking, documentation, and performance goals
- Passion for helping businesses and people succeed
- This will be a regional position that is responsible for assisting employers across Wake, Johnston, Lee, Chatham, and Orange Counties
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR at least two (2) years of relevant experience in customer service, staffing, recruiting, or employer-facing roles
- Experience in account management, recruiting, human resources, staffing, or workforce development
- Familiarity with hiring practices, employer engagement, or employment-related programs
- Experience working with diverse populations, employers, or community partners
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service and presentation skills
- Knowledge of local communities, workforce needs, or regional resources is a plus
- Familiarity with labor market trends or business workforce challenges preferred
- Professional, approachable, and customer-focused demeanor
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance required
