Overview
The HR Generalist is responsible for applying all HR policies and company guidelines and ensuring employees adhere to company standards.
Duties- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including, but not limited to, recruitment and onboarding, compliance, benefits, and leave, performance and talent management.
- Handles all administrative tasks including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Responds to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, and refers complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Assists in communicating, interpreting, and updating the employee handbook, and contributes to policy development.
- Administers employee leaves and accommodations, maintains accurate internal records, and conducts regular audits for accuracy.
- Provides personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
- Maintains accuracy of employee records through manual data entry and database audits for changes such as status, pay, address, hires, terminations, tax with holdings, and direct deposit information.
- Participates in projects as assigned by the Human Resources Director or other leadership.
- Develops, executes, and evaluates employee communications campaigns and materials across multiple channels.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information and ensures changes are properly authorized and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Compensation package of $53,000 (minimum) to $66,000 per year (exempt).
- Benefits include: vacation (minimum two weeks), sick days (5 days), holidays (12 days; 9 standard and 4 floating), and other standard benefits (401(k), medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term and voluntary long-term disability).

- Valid authorization to work in the United States is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, hiring and employee relations.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group settings.
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, Internet software, email, and/or database software; basic computer skills are required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and be hospitable with a focus on guest/customer service, including passengers.
- Must undergo a pre-employment drug testing.
- Must sign a background check release and complete the employment application in its entirety.
- Must provide a complete and verifiable employment history, including the past 10 years of employment when applicable, and no unjustified refusals to provide information.

The work environment is indoors with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. The majority of work is performed in well-ventilated facilities with a moderate noise level.
