Position: WORKDAY SR HRIS Reporting Analyst

Sr. Workday HRIS Reporting Analyst - Raleigh NC (FTE/ Direct Hire) – commutable

HYBRID – 4 days Onsite/ 1 Offsite

ROLE

Handles administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Workday Reporting, and Workday Prism Analytics. You will ensure data accuracy, system efficiency, compliance with HR regulations, and handle end-user support. You will collaborate with HR and Management on enhancements, modifications, corrections, and process improvement and collaborate with IT and system vendors on implementing changes and enhancements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, build, test, and maintain Workday reports, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Custom Reports with Calculated Fields;
    Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, BIRT; translate business requirements into scalable and user-friendly reporting solutions; partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, and IT to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights; ensure data accuracy, consistency, as well as security/governance standards compliance.
  • Support regulatory, compliance, and audit reporting like EEO-1, ACA, SOX, & internal audits.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
  • Provide internal client support, including report writing and dashboard building.
  • Optimize existing reports for performance, usability, and consistency.
  • Support Workday releases by testing report impacts and implementing enhancements.
  • Create documentation, job aids, and training materials for end users.
  • Promote best practices in Workday reporting, data governance, and self-service analytics.
REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in IS/IT, Analytics, HR, Finance or related
  • Extensive Workday Prism creating and maintaining 5+ use cases.
  • 2+ years of statistical or data analysis experience
  • Strong experience designing custom reports/ dashboards using Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, and MS365 / advanced Excel
  • Strong in Workday business processes, data structures, calculated fields, prompts, and report performance optimization.
  • Able to quickly pivot/make decisions targeting focus and business needs
  • Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Work history/ experience with confidential data is mandatory
PREFERRED
  • Workday Pro Reporting and/or Prism Certification
  • Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefit
  • Discovery Boards and data visualization best practices
  • Data governance, privacy, and security concepts
  • Experience supporting a large Workday tenant ecosystem with multiple tenants.
  • Service Now experience/ documentation
