Payroll Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position within the dynamic food and food processing industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple locations, demonstrating expertise in payroll systems and compliance.

Responsibilities:

- Process full-cycle payroll for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Manage payroll for over 500 employees across various farm and warehouse locations.

- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to execute payroll tasks efficiently.

- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.

- Collaborate with HR and management to support payroll-related inquiries.

- Implement and improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency.

- Ensure employee data is accurately maintained within the payroll system. Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

- Expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations.

- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software.

- Familiarity with payroll compliance regulations.

- Ability to manage payroll for large teams exceeding 500 employees.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various departments.
