Overview
You are the first connection that our guests have to our hotel and a vital contributor to the success of their experience. You assist arriving and departing guests with luggage and provide information regarding the property and local area. You will use the guest's name to make them feel welcome and important. You help acclimate guests to the hotel and ensure they know you are there to help with whatever they may need.
Responsibilities- Greeting every guest with a smile and a friendly greeting.
- Show guests to their room and assist with their luggage.
- Check luggage for hotel guests both for day and overnight storage.
- Promote the amenities and services of the hotel and be an ambassador for our city. You will know the neighborhood and be able to provide directions and suggestions for dining and entertainment.
We’re looking for someone with a High School diploma (or equivalent) and preferably three to six months of related experience. Most importantly, you must be a people-person. You will need to interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner at all times, fulfilling requests (even challenging ones) in a timely manner.
When You’re HereBe prepared to move around because more than half of the time you will be standing or sitting, carrying or lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending or twisting, climbing stairs, and more. You must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
