Overview

Front Desk & Guest Care position at Concord Hospitality. The Front Desk Clerk interacts with guests, provides hospitality, and supports guest satisfaction through proactive, responsive, and caring service. Our culture emphasizes respect and value for all associates.

Role Responsibilities
  • Assisting guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times.
  • Maintaining a high level of service and hospitality.
  • Promptly and effectively addressing guest concerns or issues to ensure guest satisfaction in a timely manner.
  • Posting guest charges, collecting payments, and following all cash handling procedures as required by Concord.
  • Handling guest mail and messages with privacy and professionalism.
  • Being knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs (travel programs, special offers).
  • Communicating effectively with various departments and management about guest comments and concerns.
  • Responding quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors, and team members needing front desk assistance.
  • Having full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures.
Qualifications & Experience

Education and Experience:

Previous hotel experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing at the front desk, up to 8 hours at a time.

Work Schedule & Availability

Starting wage: $15+/hour. Must have open availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, as the hotel operates 24/7/365.

Cross-training:
There is potential to cross-train front desk staff to work in the small lobby bar during evening shifts as needed. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and willing to cross-train at the bar. Pay will remain at the starting hourly rate with the opportunity to earn additional tips.
