Patient Services Associate
This role is essential for managing patient interactions at the front desk. With the recent hiring of new providers, patient volume is increasing, creating a need for skilled support in our student health facility.
Responsibilities- Check patients in and out.
- Confirm patient identity and verify demographics.
- Enter and verify insurance information.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and office visits.
- Support patient inquiries and handle walk-ins.
- Schedule triage appointments.
- 2+ years’ experience supporting the front desk within a medical facility.
- Experience with EPIC systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience entering and verifying medical insurance.
The role is onsite, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an expectation to arrive by 7:45 a.m. The front desk must remain open until the last patient leaves, which may occasionally extend past 5:00 p.m. You will be working within a collaborative and supportive culture focused on preventive care and holistic wellness. This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
