Clinical Therapist

Overview

Certus Psychiatry is a leading mental health practice seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist LCSW or LCMHC to provide therapeutic support for patients with mental health, behavioral health, and substance use issues. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with a hybrid Tele Health / in-office arrangement. The Therapist works collaboratively with the psychiatrist and other practitioners in outpatient settings, implementing treatment plans and coordinating the treatment process with appropriate team members.

• Recommending treatment plans and following treatment outcomes.
• Active participation in case conferences and related team-based meetings.
• Working with clinical staff toward integration of patient health with behavioral health.
• Providing client education on behavioral health issues and strategies for recovery.

• Master’s degree in a Human Services field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, LCMHC or LCSW) and eligibility to join private insurance panels;
  Cognitive Behavior Therapy skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Licensure/certification/registration in North Carolina
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with EMR programs
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to take over existing patients as well as new patients
