MRI Technologist I - Full Time Flex +$5000 Sign on Bonus

Join Outpatient Imaging Affiliates as an MRI Technologist. This full‑time flex position offers a $5,000 sign‑on bonus and supports the outpatient imaging centers in Clayton, Raleigh, and Wake Forest.

Job Summary
:
Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the MRI technologist performs routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures, ensures safety, and collaborates with the team to improve clinical practice.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Ensure services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as part of the imaging center team, seeking and providing feedback for improved clinical practice.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two‑year radiology program.
  • Up to 3 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography; current valid registration from ARRT.
  • MR advanced registration through ARRT or commitment to obtain within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Compliance with state licensure requirements for the state of practice.
  • BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • Knowledge of MRI procedures, protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and document accurately.
  • Understanding of human cross‑sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
  • Computer skills for imaging and billing systems, digital archiving, and data retrieval.
