Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Surgery Scheduler at Triangle Sinus Center, located in Raleigh, NC. Primary responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling surgical appointments, verifying insurance details and prior authorizations, and maintaining effective communication with patients and healthcare providers. The Surgery Scheduler will also update medical records and ensure smooth operations within the medical office while upholding high standards of professionalism and patient care.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Surgery Scheduling and Insurance Verification processes
  • Experience with surgical prior authorizations
  • Strong Phone Etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to ENT care
  • Experience working in a Medical Office environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with medical software and EMR systems is a plus
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications or training in medical office administration is preferred
