Position: Licensed Psychologist/Licensed Psychological Associate FT/PT

Licensed Psychologist / Licensed Psychological Associate FT/PT

The Licensed Psychologist (LP)/Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) conducts diagnostic evaluations for children who may have autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This position also provides supervision, consultation, and support for NC Research-Based Behavioral Health Treatment (RB-BHT) program, serving as the Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP) in accordance with NC Medicaid Clinical Coverage Policy 8F.

Essential Job Functions
  • Conduct assessments, analyze and interpret data, and write evaluation reports
  • Diagnose and provide treatment recommendations
  • Provide post evaluation feedback to clients
  • Coordinate with clinical and intake/admission personnel to ensure timely and otherwise appropriate client access to care
  • Collaborate with BCBAs on the development and oversight of client treatment planning and outcomes
  • Provide training, supervision, and support for BCBAs or other direct therapy staff
  • Participate in other administrative & quality improvement initiatives as needed
  • Adhere to agency’s standards for quality, timeliness, and productivity
  • Complete all evaluations as scheduled by the Intake and Admissions Department
Job Qualifications And Evaluation Documentation
  • Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Current NC licensure
  • Strong working knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis and treatment of neuro-developmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Prior experience in completing evaluations for children with ASD, IDD, and other neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Training in and competence with tools such as ADOS-2, ADI‑R, DISCO, CARS, or other known evidence‑based tools
  • Excellent communication and clinical writing skills
  • Solid organizational and time management skills

  • Must be willing to undergo and pass a drug screening and background checks
  • Travel is required

Local, state and regional travel will be required from time to time.
