Essential Job Duties
Lab technologist to perform routine testing in Cytology, Coagulation, Hematology, Chemistry, Special Chemistry, and Urinalysis. Perform accessioning and communicate with hospital clinicians and staff. Assists in training DVM students and new employees.

Minimum Experience / Education
Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent laboratory experience.
Required Skills
- Experience with laboratory testing, analysis, and reporting in a Laboratory Information System
- Experience in a medical laboratory setting
- Testing experience that may include cytology, blood bank, coagulation, hematology, chemistry, special chemistry, urinalysis, processing and sending out samples
- Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
Preferred
ACSP certification
Salary Range
$20.67 – $26.05 per hour
