Overview
Responsible for implementation of the Corporate Compliance Plan. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Identifies areas of risk using regulatory guidance and benchmark tools and assists in developing action plans for improvement. Provides immediate feedback to appropriate parties regarding corrective action. Reviews processes and/or policies and provides recommendations for improvement. Provides guidance to employees, serves as a department resource, and manages external vendors.

Registered Health Information Administrator OR Registered Health Information Technician OR Certified Coding Specialist - Physician OR Certified Coding Associate OR Certified Professional Coder OR Certified in Healthcare Compliance OR Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner.
Education Required: Associate s degree.
ExperienceExperience
Required:
7 years auditing OR 7 years compliance OR 7 years accounting/finance (revenue cycle) OR 7 years education/teaching and facilitation of learning OR 7 years process improvement.
