As a Respiratory Therapist at Wake Med, you’ll deliver expert care across a diverse patient population—adult, pediatric, and neonatal.

Responsibilities include:

• Airway management and oxygen therapy
• Administration of nebulized medications
• Secretion management
• Planning, implementing, and evaluating therapy effectiveness
• Collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team

• Work in one of the busiest Level I Trauma Emergency Departments in the U.S.
• 7 Adult ICU assignments offering diverse clinical experience
• Innovative ECMO program with internal certification qualifying for NC ECMO licensure endorsement
• Perform Ultrasound-Guided Arterial Line Placement
• Dedicated New Grad Internship Program
• Separate Adult and Neonatal/Pediatric Teams
• Core & Specialized Test Prep provided to all employees

• $5,000 with 1-year commitment
• $10,000 with 2-year commitment
• $15,000 with 3-year commitment Internal Wake Med employees are not eligible for sign-on bonuses.
