Job Overview
Wake Med Health & Hospital System is currently seeking an APP to work in the Pulmonology and Critical Care unit. This position is nights only, 4 x 10‑hour shifts, 10p‑8a. Average 1:3 weekends.
Qualifications- Advanced Practice Acute Care Physician Assistant License Required.
- 1 Year Critical Care Experience Required.
- Complete referrals, consults, daily patient rounds, daily notes, discharge summaries, procedures, clinic notes, pre and post procedure care, prescribing, and patient care follow‑ups.
- Work closely with other healthcare providers in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to maximize patient care.
- Serve as an educator for PA/NP/CNM students from healthcare education programs.
- Maintain scope of practice consistent with North Carolina Medical Board or Nursing Board guidelines and Wake Med policies.
