Overview
Bloomwell Autism Therapy is seeking a dedicated part-time Autism Assessment Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will support communities in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, by conducting vital autism assessments for patients currently facing long waitlists. Your expertise will help bridge the gap in access to essential services, providing hope and support to families in need.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive autism assessments for children currently facing long waitlists.
- Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to evaluate developmental, cognitive, and behavioral aspects.
- Provide clear and concise assessment reports, including diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
- Offer guidance and support to families throughout the assessment process.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in autism assessment and intervention.
- Support Nebraska communities through assessments 2–4 days per month.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.
D.) with a focus on child psychology or related field OR Pediatric Psychiatrist. - Nebraska licensure.
- Experience in conducting autism assessments and familiarity with standardized assessment tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to supporting underserved communities and reducing healthcare disparities.
- Willingness to conduct assessments consistently at least 4 days per month.
This range is provided by Bloomwell Autism Therapy. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Compensation: $2,000 per assessment.
