Overview
The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services by evaluating patients, establishing and implementing effective treatment plans with functional treatment goals, providing patient education and therapeutic intervention/activity programs and educating in use of assistive devices. Position is responsible for observing, evaluating and documenting the results of treatment interventions and modifying age-appropriate treatment plan accordingly. The Option 1 Physical Therapist will work in a minimum of one of the following settings of care:
Acute Rehab Services (Raleigh/Cary), Rehab Hospital and Outpatient Rehab. Populations served include stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, other neurological issues, as well as post-surgical orthopedics, cardiac, multi-trauma and debility for both adult and pediatric populations. This position is in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool and has minimum shift availability requirements per calendar year. Wound Care experience preferred

Licensure and Education
- Licensed Physical Therapist Required
- Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy Required
- Master's Degree Physical Therapy Preferred
Experience
- 2 Years Clinical - Physical Therapy Preferred
- Wound Care experience preferred
