- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills in pediatric clients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address developmental delays, sensory integration challenges, or physical impairments.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s progress and goals.
- Provide therapy sessions in clinic, school, or telehealth settings, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
- Educate families on strategies to promote skill development and independence at home and in community settings.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in pediatric occupational therapy and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with pediatric populations (preferred but not required for exceptional candidates).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Knowledge of sensory integration, developmental milestones, and pediatric rehabilitation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
