Citywide Part-Time — Varied & Public Service

Overview

The City of Raleigh is seeking part-time, temporary opportunities as they become available. Applicants may be considered in various functional areas or roles throughout the City.

• Work in a variety of capacities across city government. Assignments may include service and maintenance, administration, administrative support, customer service, or public safety.
• Interact with the public tactfully and courteously, with a commitment to superior customer service.
• Acquire knowledge of applicable policies and procedures as required.
• Assignments will be located within various City departments and vary in length. Opportunities are filled on an as-needed basis.
• Positions may necessitate use of various computer software products.
• A City representative will contact candidates as positions arise to review and discuss duties and responsibilities.

• Ability to interact with the public tactfully and courteously, with a commitment to superior customer service.
• Qualifications vary dependent upon the duties of the position; applications will be reviewed for skills in the area of the assignment being recruited.
• Willingness to acquire knowledge of policies and procedures as required and to work in the duties of the assigned area.
