Manufacturing Industry Experience Required
We are working with a local manufacturing company in the Raleigh-Durham area who is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the company's financial planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. The role is highly analytical and collaborative, with exposure to senior leadership, operations, and commercial teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial modeling skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage complex data in a dynamic, manufacturing-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and support the company's financial forecast, annual budget, and operating plan processes
- Analyze current and historical trends across key performance indicators, including revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and analyze drivers of variances against plan and forecast
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models and forecasting tools to support business planning and strategic initiatives
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for management
- Collaborate closely with Commercial Operations, Plant Controllers, Site Leaders, and regional teams to collect inputs and integrate analysis across the organization
- Perform capital expenditure analysis, industry and peer benchmarking, and evaluation of new business and investment opportunities, including acquisition analysis
- Lead and support special projects and other analytical initiatives as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3+ years of relevant FP&A or analytical experience; manufacturing and/or costing analysis experience required
- SAP experience highly preferred
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Must be a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills, dedicated to support of physician enterprise.
- Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
