PurposeThe primary purpose of the ACH Support peak time position is to learn the most basic functions of the department so that support may be provided during peak periods of activity. Learns how to effectively support and assist senior department employees. Learns the fundamentals of returning Federal Benefit Payments after a member’s death and how to navigate within PEP+.
Responsibilities- 75% Processes death notifications from branch, Profile report, and Death Notification Entries from US Treasury.
- 15% Research death notifications that are more than 90 days past the death of a member.
- 10% Scan return mail and ACH Support documents.
- HS Diploma or GED
- Applicant should be willing to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am through 5:30 pm.
- Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with coworkers.
- Must be cordial in all interactions with members and coworkers.
- Must be willing to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
- Must adhere to the work schedule and attendance policy established by manager.
- Should have basic computer skills.
- Should have high level of self-control, communication skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and organization skills.
