Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team in North Carolina. • Participating in month‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Performing reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
• Engaging in process improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Recording and reviewing journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Providing insights and recommendations for financial decision‑making processes.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting roles with a focus on month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial statement assistance.
• Proven experience with process improvement activities.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

The position requires a full‑time commitment, working Monday through Friday.

The position offers competitive compensation with a pay range of $42 to $48 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The role involves minimal travel, with around 0% travel time expected.
