YourKey Responsibilities
- Deliver tax compliance and consulting work for clients.
- Recognize and identify problem areas and items that need to be addressed or escalated to ensure client needs are timely and accurately completed.
- Analyze an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
- Identify potential opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
- Research market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients’ tax activities.
- Research clients’ business operations and build long‑lasting relationship to tailor advice.
- Collaborate with a motivated team of professionals and build effective long‑term client relationships.
- Maintain reputation by updating and sharing technical knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline or a graduate degree in Tax or Law.
- Progress toward CPA or Enrolled Agent license.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in professional services or professional tax organization.
- Thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems and laws within your area of technical professionalism.
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, and willingness to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuing learning.
- Thorough understanding of state and local partnership tax.
- Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Return Preparation Software.
- Experience working in a variety of teams.
- Ability to adapt your work style to work with both internal and client team members.
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $81,900 to $135,100 (US) and higher ranges for NYC, Washington, California (ex Sacramento) $98,400 to $153,600.
