Banfield Pet Hospital – (Banfield Raleigh at Leesville)

We are seeking a Client Service Coordinator for Banfield Pet Hospital in Raleigh Leesville!

The Client Service Coordinator ("CSC") manages the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizes the productivity of the veterinary team, ensures effective communication with clients and associates, and coordinates care in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient manner to encourage client retention and referrals.

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and directing client flow to ensure excellent care and team productivity.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by maintaining a productive and efficient hospital environment, supporting wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times, including welcoming clients and pets, ensuring their comfort, and educating them about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation, pet information entry, proper identification, and prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, medication dispensing, retail sales, and scheduling.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and proper procedures.
• Perform administrative functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Comfort around pets, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.
• Work hours may exceed 40 hours/week, including weekends and evenings.
• Exposure to pets that may bite or scratch, and potential exposure to anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards, and medications.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for radiography duties.
• One year of related experience preferred, especially in customer service.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, healthcare, pharmaceutical) with medical terminology training preferred.
