Public Address Announcer ( Summer Collegiate Baseball ) Raleigh Red Oaks North State League

The Raleigh Red Oaks are seeking a reliable and professional Public Address Announcer to support game-day operations at home games in June and July (~20 games). This role is responsible for delivering clear, accurate, and timely announcements that enhance the overall fan experience while maintaining a fun, consistent and professional tone throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities

• Announce starting lineups, player introductions, and other in-game activities
• Deliver scripted and live game announcements, including promotions and sponsor reads
• Communicate important information to fans, including game updates and safety messages
• Coordinate with game-day staff, production, and operations teams to ensure accurate timing and messaging
• Maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced, live-event environment

Qualifications

• Clear speaking voice and strong verbal communication skills
• Comfortable speaking to large crowds
• Ability to follow scripts while adapting to live game situations
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Prior announcing or live event experience preferred, but not required

Availability

• Must be available for home games and select team events throughout the season (June and July).
