Job Duties & Responsibilities
Kid Strong Member Service Receptionists are the support system of the Program Director at the center. They work with the Program Director to foster a culture of learning and development for Coaches and Families, and deliver key business results such as sales performance and reducing member attrition. The Receptionist should be welcoming, engaging, and focused on providing an exceptional experience for kids, families, and team members.
This position is available at both our Cary and Raleigh locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- CENTER OPERATIONS
- Build and maintain relationships with families to provide exceptional customer service.
- Welcome families upon entry.
- Assist members with administrative needs.
- Help enroll new members and promote trial classes.
- Manage trial class sales and follow-ups.
- Oversee center initiatives like maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
- Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of the center.
- Work a schedule of 3 weekdays and 2 weekend shifts, supporting the Program Director on days off. Typical weekday hours are 3:00 pm to 7:45 pm; weekend hours are 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
OUTBOUND CALLS
- Make daily outbound sales calls, texts, and follow-ups.
- Handle member relation calls and voicemail returns.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- A passion for working with children is essential.
- Comfortable communicating with parents/guardians.
- Complete required training via Learn Upon.
- Prior experience as a receptionist is a plus; management experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficient with Google and Microsoft platforms; experience with Glo Fox, Podium, Hub Spot, and Google Sheets is a plus.
- CPR certification is preferred but not required; can be obtained within 90 days of hire.
BONUS

Sphere of Interaction
This role has no direct reports but involves interactions with leadership and HQ teams as needed.
