Civil Engineer - Land Development EIT

The Project Engineer position is an opportunity to work on a team on focused on commercial land development of 1-5 acre sites. Each week provides new challenges in site planning, grading, utility design, and stormwater management.   On-site with flexible work arrangements
• Pay Rate Type:
  Hourly with overtime rate of 1.5x base pay for all hours worked over 40 in a week (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications)

• Possess strong design fundamentals and deliver complete documents at project milestones
• Assist Project Managers with design coordination between clients, grading contractors, geotech, and other disciplines
• Prepare a variety of plans from concept drawings to construction documents

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred
• 0-3 years of experience in civil engineering, internships included
• Exposure to or coursework using Civil 3D; experience with grading and site design is a plus
• Interest in commercial land development and site design
• Basic understanding of grading, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion control concepts
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow professionally in a team-based environment

• Work is primarily performed in an office environment
• Ability to occasionally move equipment/objects weighing up to 10 pounds
