Responsibilities
  • Design and develop HVAC systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and adhere to all relevant industry standards.
  • Use Revit and Trace 700 to create detailed and accurate models of mechanical systems.
  • Perform load calculations to determine the capacity and efficiency of HVAC systems.
  • Work closely with other members of the project team, including architects and electrical engineers, to ensure that all aspects of the project are coordinated effectively.
  • Review and approve project drawings and specifications, ensuring that they meet all necessary requirements and standards.
  • Provide technical support to the construction team during the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Conduct site inspections and system testing to ensure that all work has been carried out to the highest standard.
  • Continually monitor industry trends and advancements in technology, and use this knowledge to improve the design and performance of mechanical systems.
  • Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A valid Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Previous experience within HVAC/MEP design.
  • Extensive experience with Revit and Trace 700.
  • A deep understanding of load calculations and their application in the design of HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with other members of the project team.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.
