Responsibilities
Design and develop HVAC systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and adhere to all relevant industry standards.Use Revit and Trace 700 to create detailed and accurate models of mechanical systems.Perform load calculations to determine the capacity and efficiency of HVAC systems.Work closely with other members of the project team, including architects and electrical engineers, to ensure that all aspects of the project are coordinated effectively.Review and approve project drawings and specifications, ensuring that they meet all necessary requirements and standards.Provide technical support to the construction team during the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.Conduct site inspections and system testing to ensure that all work has been carried out to the highest standard.Continually monitor industry trends and advancements in technology, and use this knowledge to improve the design and performance of mechanical systems.Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.A valid Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.Previous experience within HVAC/MEP design.Extensive experience with Revit and Trace 700.A deep understanding of load calculations and their application in the design of HVAC systems.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with other members of the project team.A strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.Interested in hearing more?
