Senior Environment Health Safety Specialist

Bachelor's Degree or related experience

Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing setting

Strong Health & Safety expertise – especially with compliance, audits, and regulatory agencies

Ability to operate independently and influence without direct authority

Serve as the site EHS leader for a dynamic manufacturing operation. You’ll be the driving force behind environmental compliance, safety culture, and risk reduction efforts — leading from the floor, partnering with operations, and driving proactive initiatives that protect both people and the planet.

Champion a safety‑first culture through hands‑on training, coaching, and compliance leadership

Support and maintain ISO 14001 environmental systems (where applicable)

Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and maintain all required reporting/logs

Lead environmental and sustainability programs (hazardous waste, emissions, permitting)

Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agency relationships

Drive incident investigations and root cause analysis with a preventive mindset

Manage Workers' Comp programs and support capital projects related to EHS

Conduct audits, analyze trends, and act decisively to keep people safe and operations compliant

Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental, or related field

7+ years of progressive EHS experience, ideally in manufacturing

Prior leadership experience is a plus, but not required

Confident navigating federal, state, and local compliance landscapes
