Job Description

This manager is looking for a Junior Dev Ops Engineer with early‑career Dev Ops experience or a software engineering background and familiarity with Dev Ops tooling and operations. This is a great opportunity for a junior‑level candidate who is eager to learn, take on new challenges, and continue developing as a Dev Ops Engineer. Applicants must be a sole U.S. citizen due to the nature of work supporting the U.S. Government.

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS technologies such as ECR, EKS, S3, and Networking.
• Utilize Terraform and Kubernetes to ensure scalable and reliable infrastructure management.
• Develop and execute programming and scripting tasks, with a preference for Python, to support infrastructure automation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to address organizational and technical challenges.
• Solve complex problems to ensure smooth operations of cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure, Dev Ops, or software development roles.
• Proficiency in AWS technologies, including ECR, EKS, S3, and Networking.
• Strong skills in Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Experience in programming and scripting, with a preference for Python.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

• Experience with Ansible to manage Kubernetes workloads and configuration automation.
• Familiarity with government‑related IT policies, frameworks, or regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of additional cloud infrastructure tools and best practices.

This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC.

The pay range for this position is $ - $/hr.
