OverviewDescription :
Under general direction, instructs, directs, and checks the work of other project engineers. Responsible for developing strategies for technical IT infrastructures and the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. Leads a group of engineers, analysts, and / or technicians assigned for the duration of a project or may function as ongoing lead within a group of engineers associated with one or more technical areas within the telecom function (such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or operations / user support).
Does not have formal supervisory responsibilities, although may provide input to performance appraisals.
- Instruct, direct, and check the work of other project engineers under general direction.
- Develop strategies for technical IT infrastructures and manage completion of assigned engineering projects within budget and schedule.
- Lead a group of engineers, analysts, and technicians for the duration of a project or function as an ongoing lead within technical areas (e.g., network design, engineering, implementation, operations / user support).
- Provide input to performance appraisals as appropriate.
- Perform functional analysis, requirements definition, and SAP module configuration and testing.
- Ability to develop functional requirements specifications, data mappings, function mappings, configuration tables, and transaction / control tables.
- Ability to coordinate projects across different organizations.
- Understanding of business processes and flows to analyze requirements and develop solutions for business functions.
- Strong knowledge in SAP HCM HR modules including OM / PA, eCareer, EHS, etc.
- HR development experience.
- RICEF, Info Type, Logical Databases, OM / PA, etc.
- ABAP.
- HR process and forms.
- SAP Fiori.
- Knowledge of SAP PO and S/4
HANA. - HR security and Fiori architect concepts.
- Design architecture experience, including Launch Pad design and design of control-based solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum processes and management tools (e.g., Version One).
- Knowledge of and experience with IT service management systems (preferably Service Now).
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in software development, database administration, or related field.
- A degree from an accredited college/university in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred.
- Able to perform all functional duties independently on high-visibility programs or mission-critical aspects of a program.
- Able to oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
- Experience training / mentoring less experienced personnel.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with designing, implementing, operating and administering relational DBMSs.
- Development / support experience with more than one DBMS product (Oracle, SQL Server).
- Extensive knowledge of / experience with DBMS Job Control Language (JCL), access methods, performance tuning, device allocation, validation checks, organization, security, documentation and statistical methods.
- Without assistance, capable of recommending the most appropriate DBMS product after evaluating a set of system requirements.
- Extensive experience producing database-related documentation such as administration policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills.
