Senior Cost Controller - Join us as an experienced professional ready for the next step in your career or currently performing at a senior level in a similar environment.

Responsibilities
  • Implement, administer, and maintain cost control systems and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts for complex and high‑value projects.
  • Lead the preparation and review of cost estimates, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Provide strategic cost insights and scenario analyses to support decision‑making and alternative selection.
  • Evaluate and analyze fee proposals and bids, offering clear recommendations for leadership review.
  • Develop and maintain detailed forecasts and cash flow analyses, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Maintain and manage comprehensive cost reports, delivering regular updates on financial position to project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support the development, validation, and maintenance of the project schedule, ensuring alignment between cost and schedule performance.
  • Develop advanced reporting and tracking tools; generate cost reports on a regular basis, including earned value analysis and variance reporting.
  • Build and manage complex spreadsheets to enable fast and accurate manipulation of large datasets.
  • Extract, transform, and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and maintain a clean audit trail.
  • Support SOX control responsibilities where applicable, ensuring compliance with all required standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related construction field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting cost management on large and complex construction projects.
  • Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present cost insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently, mentor junior team members, and contribute to a collaborative project environment.
