An exciting opportunity is available within a multidisciplinary Building, Energy, and Infrastructure team. This role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful projects while developing technical expertise in a collaborative environment.
Position OverviewThis role provides technical and design support for mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The position focuses on developing design and construction drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documentation for institutional, commercial, and industrial facilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical and design services for mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Collaborate directly with clients to understand project requirements and provide engineering solutions.
Conduct preliminary evaluations and prepare engineering reports.
Develop design drawings, technical specifications, and permit submittals.
Manage multiple project tasks simultaneously and deliver work within established schedules and budgets.
Support multidisciplinary project teams throughout project planning, design, and execution phases.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity within a short timeframe.
5+ years of experience in mechanical design and HVAC system analysis.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also managing independent assignments.
Strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with plumbing and fire protection system design.
Experience supporting healthcare facility projects.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable background record may be required depending on project needs.
