RK&K is looking for a self‑motivated Field Engineer in our Raleigh, NC office to work on local municipal projects. As a Field Engineer II, you will support civil construction projects from start to finish related to highways, roadways, bridges and related facilities.
Essential Functions- Coordinate a variety of construction projects, including consultation, investigation, evaluation, planning, design of public or private utilities, structures, machines, equipment, processes, transportation systems and work systems.
- Communicate with internal team and external clients.
- Accurately log activities on the work site.
- Serve as the running point on inspections of roadways and bridges.
- Assist with inspections and other on‑site meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management/science.
- 2–7 years of experience in construction inspection or construction management.
- Ability to coordinate simultaneous tasks.
- Proficiency in communicating technical information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
