Responsibilities

* Manage and deliver land development projects including stormwater management, grading, water/sanitary sewer, and erosion/sediment control design

* Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet deadlines and budgets

* Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements

* Prepare proposals, scopes, budgets, and manage project financials (invoices, receivables)

* Build and maintain strong client relationships, while pursuing new business opportunities

* Mentor, hire, and train new staff to grow a high-performing civil/site development team

* Provide oversight and guidance on permitting and construction activities

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)

* Professional Engineer (PE) license

* 10+ years of site design experience in land development

* Expertise in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrologic analysis, grading, and site development

* Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience preferred)

* Knowledge of city, county, and state land use processes and regulations (NC experience preferred)

* Strong leadership, client management, and financial management skills
