** How You’ll Make an Impact
*** Develop and maintain electrical design specifications and models aligned with industry standards.
* Perform design reviews, verifications, and targeted updates to improve quality and performance.
* Manage design tasks to meet milestones, timelines, and project commitments.
* Assess technical risks and drive mitigation strategies and design innovation.
* Partner with customers to integrate requirements and feedback into design solutions.
* Collaborate with supply chain teams to support efficient, manufacturable, and cost-aware designs.
* Prepare and maintain clear design documentation to support execution and knowledge sharing.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on testing, data, and best practices.
* Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.###
** Your Background
*** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in transformer electrical design.
* Working knowledge of power industry standards such as IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, UL, CSA, and NEC.
* Understanding of transformer design parameters and design-to-cost principles.
* Ability to work independently, delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision.
* Work authorization permitting employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.
